IHC began in 1906 as a General Contracting firm. Throughout our history, we have expanded and modified our firm to reflect what Owners and purchasers of construction services need and desire.

At our core, we are a builder of construction projects willing to adapt to the dynamics of an always changing marketplace, driven by the Owners of the projects we build.
Today's construction environment still finds opportunities for IHC to compete as a General Contractor in traditional Owner, Designer, General Contractor relationships. Most of these opportunities are in the public heavy, civil and institutional building markets.
